Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette Review, Photos, Swatches The Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly Palette Eye Shadow Collection ($36 US) from the Too Faced Spring 2016 Collection is an Ulta exclusive release available February 28th, 2016 that was inspired by the social media sensation the Peanut Butter shade from their bestselling Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Collection created. The palette includes nine matte and shimmer shades featuring antioxidant-rich cocoa powder with a creamy peanut butter twist. My sense of smell is a little messed up at the moment from a sinus infection otherwise I would give more feedback on the scent. From what I can tell it does smell like chocolate still but with a hint of peanut butter. Please note that the product does not contain any actual peanuts. The palette also includes a Glamour Guide with three looks to get you started. As per usual I usually ignore the layout when creating my own looks. I love how the Too Faced palettes include larger pans of the shades you will use most often. Extra Creamy is the perfect base shade for me. It is a pale ivory that is light enough to brighten my fair skin to give my shadow looks more definition. The shadows in this palette are creamy and extremely pigmented. They are really beautiful. The only exceptions to the extraordinary pigmentation are the two purple shades. Jelly has more of a glowing iridescent finish with a subtle translucency but still builds up beautifully. Jammin' is a bit sheer with sparse golden glitter throughout. I found it did perform better on the eye then in swatches. The mattes and shimmers (that have more of a metallic finish) are incredible. This palette does run very very warm so if you are strongly cool toned it likely won't suit you. Damn these shadows work magic for blue eyes though! I created a look with Extra Creamy from crease to brow, Spread the Love as a transition shade, Nuts About U in the crease and outer v, and Peanut Brittle on the lid and wow, my blue eyes were so bam in your face.
